Hey guys and girls,
Greetings from London, the sun is shining and I am smiling....Why? well I am
off to Scotland on Thursday for 5 days of drinking, partying and
horseriding.....yep call me a glutton for punishment but my friend Karen and
I are thinking of riding along the beach after we have a bender on Saturday
night. Caren and Siobhan I know you two will be dead proud of me! And
considering I have not done it since I was 13 I will be pretty impressed
with myself too!
So, what's goss people? I have to say apart from Matt, Tanja and a few
others, I have not heard from many of you and that kinda sucks as I am
desperate for some Aussie goss...
Hey Dave, Gav and Feisty I believe you boys packed out Mojo's and things for
you Dave and your CD are coming along very nicely - tidy effort tiger!
Well. what can I tell you all? If I am repeating stuff for some of you I am
sorry, I forget who I have and haven't written to lately.
Last night, Glyn and I went to our cousin's leaving doo. Bex is on her way
home to Perth after a mastering the art of dodgy working visas and a 5 year
stint here in London and last night she had a right send off indeed. We
went to a funky underground Morrocan restuarant where you drink vodka shots,
eat gorgeous food and watch an amazingly beautiful woman belly dance. Bex,
however being the shy creature she is (NOT) got up and did her own routine
which was absolutely FAB! Of course by the time I left I realised yep, it
is a Monday night and I am drunk once again.....
Went to a MASSIVE rave two weeks ago which was INSANE....4,500 people, 33
dj's - brilliant! Went along with some people I had not actually met
before, friends of the wonderful and gorgeous Chelsea Pyke. Best thing is I
have been in constant touch with them ever since.....
Chels, Anne and Nat are the best email buddies....without them my day would
go so slow! Nat went a little too hard and spent a lot of the evening with
the paramedics, however she said it was awesome as all the gear that got
confiscated at the door came backstage and were handed to the DJ's. Talk
about being in the right place at the right time hey! Anyway I met these two
guys in the club and ended up bringing them home to our place (as you do)
which incidentally was a total mess as Louise and I had decided to start
painting the bathroom earlier that day.....the next thing i know these guys
are in our bathroom painting whilst Louise was cracking the whip.....She is
my hero and our bathroom looks great too!
We had a house full of people that morning - all on different planets due to
the intense partying and substances consumed the night before.....all this
at 7.00am. Met this one guy who a friend of ours met a party when he
casually strolled into my bedroom wearing his footy socks and a pair of
shorts, he just wanted to say "hi" and then agreed to go with our mate to
nippers football training! After a massive night and zero sleep he was
running after a a soccer ball and 7 year olds at 9.00am - CRACKERS. Needless
to say when he came back over, he was in a right state!
The house has since been graced with the presence of Uncle Ross. Louise and
Katharine's mad uncle who is as Aussie as they come! He has no idea as to
what he wants to see within the month he is here so the girls booked him
onto a 7 day tour of Ireland. On day 4 he pulled out. Reason: "The bloody
bus didn't stop at enough f***** pubs" He is hell funny and slightly deaf
but can always provide a giggle! The first day he was here I was convinced
he was going to get his head smacked in by stating "Geez Louise, lots of
black people in this city". Our friend Parry was so gutted when he met
Uncle Ross, he was sure he was gonna get called a abo.
Glyn has since returned from his 6 weeks in Spain and Italy and is now
looking for work so he can head off again in November. I myself am not sure
where I want to go next, Greece I think or perhaps Italy..... Uncle Rossy
wants to hire a car and drive around the south of France which would be an
awesome opportunity to see France however considering he likes a drink, I
think we would need a skipper to drive the bloody car otherwise we could end
up like Glyn and his travelling buddly Leon, drive a hire car blind drunk,
run every red light and then swipe off the rear view mirrow only to return
the car and do a runner!
What else....I guess there is never a dull moment is what I am saying.
I will of course have more tales to tell when I get back from Scotland but
tonight in itself is going to be a mission. Uncle Ross made us girls a bet
of ?20 quid that we had to purchase a dining table and chair setting before
he returned from Ireland, Apparently "Because you dont have enough bloody
furniture in this house". Anyway on Sunday we made the trek to IKEA and
bought a shit load of stuff at Uncle Ross' expense (lovely....) only to get
it home and realise we picked up the wrong bloody table....now Louise and I
are going to try and take this massive thing back....on the bus!
Well that's all folks,
Take care and write to me soon you slack buggars!
Kristy
